ARTIST STATEMENT

"I initially got into Lupin the Third through Persona 5, funnily enough. I was interested in what inspired the game and thought "you know what? Let's check it out." I watched the film "The First" with a friend and never looked back. You could say that Lupin stole my heart.

My piece was heavily inspired by the film, The Castle of Cagliostro, and the song Fire Treasure. The montage of Lupin and Jigen traveling to Cagliostro in their little yellow fiat is genuinely one of my favourite Lupin moments and I wanted to create a piece that was a homage and reflection of the timeless love each of the members share for each other. Wherever the characters go, whatever disagreements they may have or even sometimes being on different sides, nothing could tear them apart."
