ARTIST STATEMENT

"This is the third version of this piece, that I keep remaking with ink and colored pencils every few years! The first one was on a slightly bigger than A4 rough paper: everyone was closer to the camera, Fujiko wasn't there and they had to be closer to fit in the page.

The second time, it was on an A5 rough paper, still without Fujiko but I was figuring out better poses and proportions. This time, I drew on smooth A5 paper and moved them a bit away from the camera so that everyone had enough space to show their run!

This time I also added some good shadows digitally, and I'm very proud of how it came out! I gave them each the color palette they had in a specific part: from Fujiko to Zenigata, part 1 through part 5!"
